About the Role
- The role will entail lecturing, module leadership, year tutorship and placement supervision in equine health, performance and rehabilitation related subject areas.
- Planning, designing, and delivering inclusive teaching, alongside assessing and providing feedback on Undergraduate and Postgraduate modules.
- Engaging with scholarly activity to support teaching, supervising student research projects and knowledge generation, exchange and transfer.
- Activities utilise our extensive equine facilities, including the Equine Therapy Centre, Rider Performance Centre, championship arenas, and equine yard, providing stabling for over 230 horses.
About You
- Expertise in equine health, performance and rehabilitation, utilising relevant scientific principles to underpin optimal equine welfare, performance and management.
- Passion for educating, influencing and enabling the next generation of equestrian enthusiasts to add value to industry, by delivering the highest quality of teaching, learning and student experience to students.
- Postgraduate qualification, ideally doctorate level, in a relevant area. You will hold a teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one.
