The Role – Associate Product Owner – Marketing Websites

The Team:

You will be joining the Digital Operations Team within Marketing. The Associate Product Owner – Marketing Websites will work across S&P Global Commodity Insights to maximize results from our websites.

The role will organize and prioritize work for the scrum team and website content management.

Responsibilities and Impact:

  • Work closely with leadership to understand short- and long-term roadmaps and how our websites support our commercial strategy.
  • Ensure our website’s content is current and continues to support our commercial goals.
  • Write clear requirements, including detailed acceptance criteria.
  • Drive backlog grooming agile sprint ceremony, acting as the bridge between business needs and technical implementation.
  • Present on behalf of agile teams in sprint review, reiterating business value delivered with each work increment completed.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and development teams to develop short and long-term solutions to meet business needs and solve distinct problems.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum two years of working experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in an Agile scrum framework.
  • Bachelor or advanced degree.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile development framework, with practical experience to support flexible application of principles.
  • Working familiarity with road-mapping and issue-tracking software applications (MS Azure DevOps, Salesforce).
  • A team player who is comfortable working with a globally distributed team across time zones.
  • A solid communicator, both with technology teams and with non-technical stakeholders.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Preferred: Web CMS experience, e.g., Crownpeak, Adobe
  • Prefferred: Web Analytics. e.g., Google Analytics or Adobe.
