Lecturer Film Production (Producer) at University for the Creative Arts

Contract Type: 1 yr FTC until 9th August 2026
This role is fixed term for 1 year maternity leave cover for Year 3 Lead for BA (Hons) Film Production. It is ideal for someone who has been in industry, taught as an associate lecturer and wants to try working in Higher Education full time.
The role will involve lecturing, seminars, group tutorials and would suit a specialist film producer with experience of film work flows as well as Higher Education. You will need a good understanding of: producer responsibilities; location management; health and safety protocols; have exceptional organisational skills and the ability to support students through their final major film projects.
The Film team are a dynamic, collaborative team and you will be working alongside researchers, learning specialists and creative professionals. The students are innovative thinkers, passionate about film making and there are going to be about 100 in this year group. The Film team work alongside colleagues from Animation, Acting, Music, TV Production and Design for Theatre and Screen. The Farnham campus has about 3,000 students and so is small and friendly.
