The Royal Parks (TRP) is a charity created in March 2017. We manage over 5,000 acres of diverse parkland, rare habitats and historic buildings and monuments in eight Royal Parks across London. These are Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, The Green Park, St James’s Park, The Regent’s Park and Primrose Hill, Greenwich Park, Richmond Park and Bushy Park.
We also manage other important public spaces including Brompton Cemetery and Victoria Tower Gardens. Our eight Royal Parks and other iconic green spaces are among the most visited attractions in the UK with 77 million visits every year.
We are now looking for a Retail Marketing Manager to join us on a full-time basis.

The Role
TRP launched its first flagship retail shop in Hyde Park, in July 2023 and is now in planning for the launch of an online shop and pop-up shops in Spring 2024. With an ambitious 10-year strategy retail is expected to grow substantially in the coming years.
The Retail Marketing Manager will play a key role in achieving the goals and ambitions for the retail business. Reporting to the Head of Retail, the role will lead on all marketing initiatives for TRP’s retail proposition. To deliver this, the role will have responsibility for planning and delivering a wide range of marketing activities including:-
Website; Email; Organic and Paid Social Media; PPC advertising and SEO; Print; Signage; PR content and creation.
It is a broad reaching role, liaising closely with internal and external stakeholders including partners, contractors, sponsors, donors and agencies to help further understand and identify opportunities to engage with key audiences as well as ensuring compliance with TRP’s overall strategy and objectives.
About You
We are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager who has experience of working within omnichannel retail and has a strong affinity with the heritage sector; someone who can demonstrate extensive skills, ability and experience in leading marketing and communications campaigns for both store and online platforms.
As a startup retail business we will be looking for someone who is happy to work independently, be hands on from the outset whilst working effectively as part of a wider team through building strong relationships and communicating with colleagues and stakeholders.
