Lecturer – Carpentry Construction at HRUC

We have an opportunity for a suitably qualified, enthusiastic and experienced individual to join our Construction and Engineering department. The Construction area delivers a range of qualifications that includes Bench Joinery and Site Carpentry and multi skills. Experience of Apprenticeships would be beneficial.
The role is 22.5 hours per week.
The role will involve teaching a range of courses to both full and part time students, the details of which will be determined by the knowledge and experience of the candidate, along with the needs of the Department. The possession of an IV qualification would be advantageous.
This role requires teaching L1, L2 and L3.
Richmond upon Thames College is part of the Harrow, Richmond and Uxbridge College Group (HRUC) and is one of London’s most successful Further Education Colleges providing education and training to 16-19 year old’s and adults from across Richmond, London and Surrey, for over 80 years. We have opened a new building in 2020 and due to develop a brand-new technology-focused STEM Centre for 2024.
This exciting and innovative new learning environment is located within the grounds of the current college site, so remains convenient for public transport links – it is adjacent to the A316 and just a short walk from Twickenham rail station and a number of regular London bus routes.
