What does a great Global Accounting Operations Manager do?
The Global Accounting Operations Manager will be responsible for the operational efficiency and financial integrity of the accounting and management reporting for all Billing activities. There will be direct responsibility for the management of the onshore Accounting Operations Team and indirect responsibility for the Offshore Team.
Responsibilities include: –
- The Global Accounting Operations Manager will lead the transition of all Billing Accounting activities from Billing Operations to the Accounting Operations
- They will be the Subject Matter Expert supporting the VP Finance Operations in all review and approval activities of Billing Accounting
- Taking an operational lead for all projects and new competencies required in Accounting Operations.
- Responsible for ensuring accurate accounting principle application, general ledger entries and balance sheet accounting for Billing Accounting, in adherence to Corporate standards and deadlines.
- Provide inspirational leadership, clear direction, and line management to the team to identify talent and maintain high performance culture.
Who we are looking for in this role:
Preferably holds an accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, CPA, ACA) or 5 years’ experience managing financial transactional teams
- Expert knowledge of financial operations environment and supporting processes/systems is essential.
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage conflicting demands priorities.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills. Able to develop and leverage a strong cross-functional network.
