Why this job matters

The All IP programme is one of the largest transformation programmes across BT Group – the closure of legacy networks including WLR (PSTN, ISDN, ADSL and FTTC) by Dec 2025 will deliver in excess of £400m cost savings as well as a reduction in BT’s carbon footprint.

Our service organisation is critical to the delivery of these network closures – this role is to ensure the service teams are fully supported with updates, impact analysis, process and procedures and resource planning.

What you’ll be doing

  • Identify what capabilities are needed to support migrations projects and the overall programme.
  • Do the business analysis required to develop the insight (as is processes) to inform the solution design needed (to be)
  • Take any capability development projects through the necessary gates to ensure stakeholder buy-in and resource (where needed) is secured.
  • Ensure the necessary capabilities are in place to support migrations delivery (process, resources etc) working with stakeholders within the programme and externally.
  • Create all necessary processes, solution designs, collateral and briefings either directly or indirectly collaborating with other members of the programme particularly sales and service engagement.

Skills and Experience we are looking for:

  • Experience working with service operations
  • Experience of delivering change
  • Experience of business analysis, process development and working with product line
  • Experience working on Agile and Waterfall projects and how to contribute to squads, project plans and sprints.
  • Experience of Jeera, Mural and/or Miro
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with ability to gain buy-in
  • Ability to plan timelines for capability development and service resource requirements (working with planning teams)
  • Able to deliver concise and clear reporting against status
  • Able to work independently
  • An excellent communicator who works highly effectively with multiple stakeholders.

Experience of capability (process) development, stakeholder management and service organisations.
