If you’re nodding in agreement, then we have an exciting opportunity just for you! Our client is on the hunt for an IT Service Desk Coordinator to join their busy team in Redruth.
Your role will be co-ordinating the IT support team and ensuring the efficient and smooth running of the Service Desk. This will involve the scheduling of support tickets and engineer site visits and managing the timely delivery of projects. You’ll also be working closely with the Sales and Account Management team to maintain a high standard of service delivery to the clientele.
Hours of Work: Full Time, Hybrid role possible following a successful training period
Salary: £25,000-£30,000 per annum
IT Service Desk Coordinator Requirements:
- Customer service experience
- Highly self-motivated and proactive approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow clear direction from colleagues at all levels
- Strong decision-making skills in fast paced environments
- Reliable and able to communicate with a wide range of people, including Management and stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and process driven
- Clear understanding of the need for confidentiality to be maintained at all times
Desirable:
- Work experience in a Service Desk environment and/or MSP
- Understanding of ticket priorities based on a number of different factors
- Understanding of basic level IT faults and the impacts they cause
