Our social media team is expanding! We have an exciting opportunity for a digital marketing apprentice to join the team and help in the creation and implementation of social media campaigns.

With social media as the digital voice of Computacenter, our small team of social media specialists work closely with teams from across the organisation balancing strategy and content creation across the main social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and X.

In this new position you will become part of our core social media team, part of Computacenter’s Group Development team which includes marketing, communications, and multimedia, and support us with the implementation and smooth running of our social media strategy with a particular focus on developing high performing content for our recruitment and people and planet campaigns, specifically on Instagram.

You’ll need a good understanding of the basics of social media including content creation, platform functionality and reporting.

For the duration of your programme, you will be studying towards a Digital Marketing Degree Apprenticeship BSc (Hons) Throughout your apprenticeship, you will dedicate 80% of your time in work and 20% to studying toward your qualification.

Help manage our central content calendar for all social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, X and LinkedIn.

Play a leading role in developing high-performing content for Instagram including stories and reels.

Support the social media team with their monthly campaign reporting and analytics

Assist our creative and web teams by helping with filming projects, creating graphics, and updating the website as required

Contribute to social media team meetings and collaborate with colleagues across the globe

To be considered for this programme, our university provider expects that applicants will have/are predicted to achieve three A Levels at CCC or above, or equivalent BTECs. Please ensure that your grades/predictions are visible on your CV.

You must have a minimum of five GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above including Mathematics and English Language.

You’ll need to have a passion for the evolving world of digital marketing and social media

You’ll need to show creativity and be proactive in demonstrating new ideas to increase engagement across social platforms.

Please note that for successful applicants, offers will be conditional on passing additional eligibility checks with our training provider including a review of any previous qualifications you hold. Due to the funding requirements of the apprenticeship, applicants must not have already obtained or studying towards a level 6 qualification in digital marketing.
