Job description: The Department of Accounting and Finance is looking to recruit full-time faculty members at the Senior Lecturer level in the area of Accounting & Finance. The positions are open ended, and the Senior Lecturer is equivalent to Associate Professor in other countries.

We are looking for individuals with an exciting research agenda that either complements or adds to the interests of our current faculty. The Finance Group has three existing research groups, , , and Sustainable Accounting, Finance and Economics (SAFE), focusing on topics such as company finance in both public and private companies, venture capital, financial markets, derivatives, risk management, cryptocurrencies, sustainable finance, climate finance. The Accounting Group has existing expertise in the area of accountability, performance management, governance, accounting in public sector and non-governmental organizations (NGOs), accounting in emerging economies, and public-private-NGO partnerships.

Our school prefers quality over quantity. Candidates must be able to demonstrate their research has publication potential in top level journals, as indicated by rankings in the Accounting and Finance CABS-AJG current journal ranking list and FT50 list.

The successful candidates will be engaged academics who enjoy working in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment and show enthusiasm for collaborating with colleagues within the department and across disciplines.

The candidates should have experience in teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level, as well as a preparedness to teach specialist and core subjects.
