Job description: Quality Engineer required. Our client is a well-established and leading manufacturer within the automotive industry, based near Paddock Wood in Kent. As part of continued success, they are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer with a knowledge of the automotive industry to join the team.
Quality Engineer – Automotive Position Overview
- Testing and Inspection materials and equipment in line with quality standards
- Investigating quality discrepancies
- Creating work instructions and quality control plans
- Leading quality improvement meetings
- Assisting the development and implementation of quality control systems
Quality Engineer – Automotive Position Requirements
- Good understanding of ISO9001 & IATF16949 standards
- 3+ years of Quality Engineering experience within an automotive industry
- Previous experience within lead auditing
- Understanding of six sigma & lean manufacturing
- Based in a commutable distance of the Staplehurst / Paddock Wood area
Quality Engineer – Automotive Position Remuneration
- Salary £35,000 – £50,000 – depending on experience
- Working hours, Monday to Thursday 07:30 – 16:30. Friday 07:30 – 12:30. 39-hour week.
