Key Responsibilities:

• Maximises dealership profitability and return on investment through the sales of vehicles, associated products, parts and labour
• Achieves the highest level of customer care, satisfaction and retention, as reflected by consistently meeting and exceeding CSI minimum standards
• Creating, communicating and implementing dealership strategy and policy for the business short, middle and long term
• Ensuring operational efficiency of all departments controlling cash flow, stocks, assets and liabilities to deliver overall profit target
• Developing appropriate and achievable budgets profit plans which reflect company and manufacturer benchmarks
• Fostering excellent manufacturer/franchise relationships and meeting franchise standards and operational objectives
• Sets, agrees and achieves department profit margins as defined within a company budget
• Controls costs, expenditure and expenses to ensure within budget, reviewing all debtor situations regularly
• Examines accounts, operating controls and composite figures to initiate improvement as required
• Operates in a culture of ongoing training and development ensuring colleagues receive monthly and quarterly AYOT and annual PDPs

Candidate Capabilities:

• Automotive industry experience at the highest level
• Proven ability in delivering results through their people
• Demonstrable experience of setting and reviewing financial, volume and operational objectives
• Well- developed and proven Leadership qualities
• Ability to compile and analyse complex sales data
• Experience selling finance in a regulated environment
