AS THE DESIGNER YOU WILL NEED TO BE:
- Be confident
- Approachable
- Passionate
- Strong willed
- Experienced with sourcing fabrics & trims
- Experience with working with Product Developers desired but not essential
- Experienced with graphic design for print and general imagery
- Adobe Suite
DESIGNER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Take complete ownership of your department
- Research new trends and forecast new colours and styles for the business
- Focus on new fabrics and trims will be essential
- Ability to create moodboards and concept briefs for the department during the season for trading
- Ability to understand commercial information to leverage your designs into best sellers
- Be prepared for wearer trials to ensure that all garments are fit for purpose
- Work closely with you garment tech to ensure quality, fit and practicality is always at the forefront
- Proactively research and follow competitors
- Constantly researching the sports industry to stay one step ahead
