Job description: We have an opportunity for a Healthcare Support Worker to come and join our team.

The Diagnostic & Interventional Radiology Unit is a dynamic and efficient department delivering services to both inpatients and out patients.

This post involves working alongside Sonographers and Radiologists, chaperoning during ultrasound scan lists and assisting during invasive procedures, keeping the Radiology Information System up to date and ensuring the room is clean, stocked and ready for use for each patient.

We are looking for a positive and organised individual who has excellent communication skills and is able to quickly build a rapport with patients. The successful candidate will need to be caring and compassionate and must enjoy working with members of the public whilst maintaining confidentiality at all times. They must be adaptable to be able to meet the demands of the service and enjoy working as part of a team.

We are a small supportive department that works closely with the Medical team, Radiographers, Sonographers, Nuclear Medicine Technicians and Physiotherapists. Working our shifts over 4 and a half days, we are open Monday to Friday 0830-1700.
