Job description: JMC are working with a well-established engineering company based in Stansted, looking to recruit a new B1/B2 License Engineer to join their AOG team.

This is a Permanent Position based in Stansted, however will extreme flexibility being on the AOG team. This position is working on a 7 on/7 off shift pattern, 07:00- 19:00 (flexibility required).

The salary for this role is £ £52,785.00 + £10,000.00 AOG Premium + £5,000.00 Shift Pay (if you have both a B1 and B2 UK CAA License you will also receive £8000 License Pay)

The Role

The role will be responsible for the day-to-day management of aircraft line and AOG maintenance inputs and projects.

Duties include:

– To remain fully prepared and able to travel at short notice, to ensure the site delivers the very highest level of response on a consistent basis, to its demanding customer base.

– Whilst on deployment, they will maintain the very highest standards of communication to both the customer and company.

– They will ensure that all work undertaken, as instructed, remains within the capabilities of the company and subject aircrafts associated state of registry.

– When they are not deployed on any AOG activity, the individual will form part of company’s base maintenance staff and as such revert to being responsible to The Head of Maintenance, whilst remaining in an ever ready and standby state.

– Compliance with company Procedures

In order to be successful in this role the B1/B2 Licensed Engineer will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

– Recognised Apprenticeship

– Full unrestricted B1 license (If you also have a B2 license, you are required to have electrical privileges.)

– Engine ground run approval

– To remain current on all required and necessary types of aircraft.

– Highly organised and able to prioritise work in a fast-paced environment.

– Proven ability to provide effective management of resources.

– Strong leadership skills.

– Advanced level of written and oral communication skills with excellent interpersonal skills.
