Location: Lambeth

Pay Rate: £32 per hour (assignment rate)

Contract: Locum, 3-Months

Requirements of the Social Worker:

  • Degree or equivalent in social work
  • Current Social Work England registration
  • An experienced qualified Social worker to join a Duty Team which provides a centralised point for known service users who are not allocated
  • Must have the ability to work at a fast pace under pressure, quick learner, IT competent, be competent in carrying a small caseload, working in a multi-disciplinary team, have excellent working knowledge of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, safeguarding and other complex requirements that occur when dealing with service users and their families
  • A good working knowledge of MOSAIC would be an advantage
  • Preferably Adults and Older Persons Physical Disability, and Learning Disabilities experience
  • Must be prepared to work flexibly from home and in Lambeth – 3 days in the office based in Brixton
