Job description: Key duties (including, but not limited to):

• Support the reporting framework across the Group, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulatory reporting requirements and developments, particularly UK GAAP, US GAAP, IFRS, Lloyd’s and Solvency II. This will include keeping up to date with accounting standards, regulatory reporting requirements and developments, conducting impact analyses, briefing stakeholders and implementing plans as appropriate
• Responsible for performing technical reviews of all statutory & regulatory reporting including: Annual Reports & Accounts, Solvency II Returns, Lloyd’s returns, US and Canadian Trust Returns, NAIC Returns, etc.
• Lead Group reporting’s compliance with Group technical accounting and reporting policies including the maintenance of these policies
• Act as the primary contact for Finance on Finance projects and change initiatives, drawing on the wider knowledge and resources of the team as necessary/ appropriate, including the development and implementation of the new accounting and reporting processes required for IFRS 17
• Responsible for the production of technical accounting papers including accounting papers to evaluate financial reporting requirements and impacts of significant transactions

Qualifications required:

• Fully ACA/ ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) qualified

Experience required:

• Deep technical knowledge and Understanding of UK GAAP, Lloyd’s and Solvency II reporting
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
