Hooray are proud to be supporting a local educational establishment to assist in the recruitment for a part time Marketing and Communications Officer to join their team until the end of the academic year.

As a Marketing and Communications Officer you will:

  • Copy writing including print and digital publications, editorial, and advertorial ensuring the brand is maintained at all times.
  • Assist the Marketing and Communications Manager.
  • Assist in the production of publications and marketing material, copywriting, proofreading, coordinating and managing projects
  • Manage enquiries from sector and local press
  • Liaise with the in-house photographer
  • Create, update and publish new and revised content across the website

To be successful as a Marketing and Communications Officer you will:

  • IT literate with in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Canva.
  • Have previous experience with website management.
  • Have experience and understanding of brand communications and writing for a range of audiences
  • Have experience of securing local and sector press opportunities and managing reactive press enquiries.

In return, my client is offering an annual salary of £25,953. Please note this is part time position until the end of the academic year.
