Job description: We are looking for an experienced and results driven Digital Marketing Manager to lead in the development of our short and long-term digital marketing strategies for our various products, brands and businesses. This is a hands-on role that offers an incredible opportunity for the successful candidate within a fast paced, entrepreneurial organisation that is expanding and diversifying its business.
Salary: £35-£40k Depending on experience
Digital Marketing Manager Duties:
In this role, you will be managing our digital marketing portfolio and driving the development and execution of our digital strategy. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Digital to develop, implement, and manage an award-winning digital marketing strategy, across multiple group companies/ brands
- Oversee and manage all digital marketing channels to ensure brand consistency and meet the company’s objectives.
- Develop and manage effective online marketing campaigns and lead the execution across various digital channels, including SEO, SEM, Email Marketing, and social media.
- Draft, edit, proofread, and improve content across all digital platforms ensuring quality, clarity, and adherence to the brand voice.
- Design and implement high-performing landing pages aimed at improving user experience and conversion rates.
- Conduct thorough website analysis and tracking metrics to understand user behaviour and make necessary improvements using WordPress editor plugins.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance UX, driving the implementation of recommendations to enhance customer satisfaction and engagement.
- Research and report on digital marketing trends
- Translate digital performance data into measurable insights to drive core business objectives, inclusive of regular reports and actionable insights to optimize performance and future campaigns.
- Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends and propose innovative ideas to increase digital marketing effectiveness.
- Monitor competition to drive insight for continuous improvement.
- Produce insight and analysis reports using GA4 and social media platforms.
Digital Marketing Manager Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in digital marketing, a strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy, and best practices, and experience in SEO, PPC, Email marketing, and social media. Experience with CRM systems, landing page design, and a basic understanding of UX is highly desirable. Superior attention to detail, process-driven, and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment are must-have qualities.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Digital Marketing Manager or similar role in a fast-paced environment. Agency experience is a plus.
- Proficient in managing all digital marketing channels.
- Expertise in website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), SEO/SEM, email marketing, and social media platforms.
- Proficient skills with content layout, placement and amendment within websites using WordPress editor plugins
- Strong understanding of how all digital marketing channels function.
- Tactical knowledge of channel implementation
- Solid knowledge of web design and UX principles.
- Understanding of CRM systems.
- Skills in mocking up landing pages and system integration processes
- Superior proofreading and copywriting skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Exceptional project management and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- A passion for digital marketing with a cons
