Location: Wakefield based permanent work with a reputable engineering company
Schedule: Monday-Friday (37 hours) Early finish Friday
Salary: £40,000-£50,000 per annum with additional benefits

Requirements:
- Qualified to minimum HNC/HND level in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experienced CAD user (Ideally Inventor or Vault)
- Experience with the design of bespoke machinery
- Experience with the design of Hydraulic machinery
- Experienced cradle to grave design engineer
- Have a good understanding of up to date British and European standards.
- Experienced user of Microsoft packages
Duties and responsibilities
- Involvement in the design and development from concept to completion
- Liaise with customers to understand design requirements.
- Use Inventor to design and model assemblies and components.
- Create drawings.
- Carry out risk assessments.
- Create BOM’s
- Assist with the procurement of materials.
- Be involved in the full design process of special purpose machinery.
