About the Role:
The Lancet Group is a market-leading, mission-driven organisation publishing and advocating for the best science to help improve lives and drive change in health globally. We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Manager for a maternity cover finishing in May 2024.
This role is central to the successful achievement of business objectives related to customer experience and community engagement through the lens of brand awareness and content acquisition, in support of ambitious publication targets.
We’re looking for a professional digital marketer who can demonstrate a deep understanding of relevant legal and regulatory requirements such as data privacy standards and can ensure consistent compliance amongst all digital marketing workflows and activities.
Responsibilities:
- Acting as Data Privacy Champion for The Lancet Group, fielding and triaging queries and escalating through appropriate channels
- Understanding complaints and incidents, including how to action and ideate solutions
- Managing HubSpot operations, including workflow creation, data management and performance enhancement
- Leading HubSpot integrations, optimising related workflows, and championing digital best practices for better efficiency and customer experience
- Advocating for data protection training and education needs as well as championing a proactive approach
- Reviewing data protection metrics and contributing to new plans on quarterly basis
- Analysing data to develop insights and make recommendations for optimisation
Requirements:
- Have a degree or professional marketing certification (e.g., CIM)
- Have experience managing HubSpot (or similar), digital marketing integrations, and data compliance
- Be able to self-start, put customer experience and compliance at the heart of your work, and drive for results
- Possess excellent project management, stakeholder management, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Have a proven track record with implementing and managing martech integrations
- Have considerable knowledge of current and new marketing and campaign technologies and a passion for innovation
- Have HTML skills for responsive editing/design
- Possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including ability to influence and negotiate
- Role is London based
