The role will report into the sites duty manager and will provide services to our site in Avonmouth Docks and WA248 Severn Beach.

This is a new role and we are open to job share and flexible working requirements.

Details:

• 37.5 hour contract (can be part time/job share i.e. 16-20 hours)
• Hourly £13.33-14.94ph (dependent on experience)
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays (pro rota)

• Fully funded training; first aid, IOSH, NEBOSH, Spill response, fire Marshall, various apprenticeship options alongside the role

Duties and responsibilities:

• General house keeping of the offices, kitchenette, and WCs across 2 sites.
• Restock consumables in welfare facilities.
• Keep account of consumables and place orders appropriately
• Use and maintenance of the industrial floor scrubber.
• Minor maintenance across the 2 sites; repairing toilet roll holders, changing light bulbs and putting up display boards.
• Periodic light landscaping; cutting grass and trimming bushes.
• Escorting visitors/contractors around the facility

Person specification

Experience, skills, and attributes:

• Use of hand/power tools
• IOSH beneficial
• Experience of working in a Warehouse environment
• Attention to detail
• Valid driving license

The role will require travel between sites – use of your own vehicle will be necessary – fuel will be covered.

All successful candidates will need to submit and pass BPSS clearance and complete a CITB test before starting (funded by Wincanton)
