*The Telecom OSS BSS Enterprise Business Architect at Prodapt is responsible for understanding the telecom domain and IT technologies, and strategizing solutions that align with the interests of stakeholders. They must uphold Prodapt’s winning values and contribute to the company’s vision.

*Approximately 20 years in IT, with a focus on telecommunications.

Responsibilities

Strategy and Vision Development:

*Crafting a strategic vision for OSS/BSS systems that aligns with overall business goals.

*Leading the transformation initiatives and ensuring adherence to TM Forum standards and guidelines.

Architectural Design:

*Develop and maintain a holistic view of the OSS/BSS ecosystem, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives. Design and optimize the IT architecture to support scalable and agile telecom operations.

*Guiding the integration of OSS/BSS solutions with existing IT infrastructure.

Requirements Analysis, Stakeholder Engagement, Vendor Management:

*Collaborate with stakeholders, including business leaders, product managers, and IT teams, to gather, analyze, prioritise business requirements.

*Translate these requirements into technical solutions that enhance OSS/BSS capabilities.

*Presenting architectural proposals and strategies to senior management and external partners.

*Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers to evaluate, select, and implement OSS/BSS solutions. Manage vendor relationships and ensure adherence to service level agreements.

Process Optimization:

*Identify opportunities for process optimization within the OSS/BSS domain. Streamline workflows, automate tasks, and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.

Technology Evaluation:

*Stay current with emerging telecom technologies and industry trends. Evaluate and recommend new tools, platforms, and solutions to improve OSS/BSS efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer experience.

*Championing the adoption of TM Forum frameworks like Frameworx for standardized processes and systems.

Team Leadership:

*Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of IT professionals, including architects, engineers, and analysts, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Documentation and Communication:

*Create and maintain architectural documentation, including diagrams, specifications, and technical standards. Effectively communicate architectural decisions and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Data Management:

*Define data architecture and governance strategies to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of telecom data. Develop data models and oversee data integration efforts across OSS/BSS components. This is desirable.

Requirements

*Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
*Approximately 20 years of experience in IT, with a strong focus on telecommunications.
*Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect or similar role in the telecom industry.
*Deep understanding of OSS/BSS systems, telecom protocols, and industry standards.
*Excellent knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and methodologies.
*Strong leadership and team management skills.
*Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
*Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
*Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, TM Forum) would be an advantage.
