About the Role:

I am seeking a talented and experienced Healthcare Inquest and Advisory Solicitor to join a leading Healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of healthcare inquest cases, as well as providing legal advice and support to healthcare clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of healthcare inquest cases, from initial instruction through to conclusion
  • Provide legal advice and support to healthcare clients on a range of issues, including patient safety, governance, and regulatory compliance
  • Attend inquests and other court hearings on behalf of clients
  • Prepare and draft witness statements, reports, and other legal documents
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of the healthcare advisory team and participate in business development activities

Requirements:

  • Qualified solicitor with 1+ years of experience in healthcare inquest law and advisory work
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of healthcare law and regulation
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage a busy workload
  • Proactive and client-focused approach to work
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
