Job description: Responsibilities:
- Enthusiastic about new projects and opportunities, taking a proactive approach to getting involved
- Working directly (virtually and onsite) with clients either independently or as part of a wider team
- Excited about new areas of research – e.g. machine learning, climate change or cyber risk – taking the initiative to extend your own knowledge on an ongoing basis
- Drafting high-quality communications to clients (formal reports, presentation slides, day-to-day communications)
- Presenting confidently in client meetings and dealing well with clients on the phone and face-to-face
- Supporting in tenders and pitches for new business, working as part of a team
- Contributing to the Company’s thought leadership, and developing your personal profile in the market, writing articles or blogs, presenting at conferences and participating in relevant industry working parties and conferences
Qualifications required:
- At least 2 years’ experience in non-life insurance, and you are making good progress with the IFoA exams
Experience required:
- Ideally, you have experience in capital modelling and/or reserving in particular
- Experience in pricing, IFRS 17, risk and/or machine learning techniques is a plus but not essential
- Experience with coding languages (in particular R and/or Python) would be helpful
