Staff Residential Lettings Manager (Job Share) at University of Bristol

January 13, 2024

Job Description

Work Hours: 14.0 Hours per Week

The role

A job share opportunity has been created to work with the incumbent Staff Residential Lettings Manager two days per week (Thursday and Friday).  The role supports the University’s recruitment and internationalisation strategy through managing a portfolio of short-term rental properties for new members of staff relating to Bristol, a small, serviced University visitor accommodation property with 8 individual units, and the Vice Chanceller’s on campus residence.

What will you be doing?

Responsible for the generation of income through the letting of properties, the Staff Residential Lettings Manager ensures that the consistent high levels of service offered to tenants are maintained, and properties are compliant both legally and from a safety and health perspective.  Managing a team of three, made up of both lettings and facilities management roles, the role has a very ‘hands on’ approach to lettings, together with building strong relationships with service providers within the University and third party contractors.

You should apply if

You have management or supervisory experience within a residential lettings or property management environment and can demonstrate a sound knowledge of lettings principals and legislation.  The role holder must be confident with communicating with a broad range of tenants and suppliers, as well as excellent IT literacy and being able to manage a number of processes and systems electronically.
