About the Role

The Facilities Management Team at Lancashire County Council are looking to recruit a Cleaning Supervisor who is required to carry out cleaning duties at White Cross Neighbourhood Centre, Mill 14 White Cross Industrial Estate.

The contracted times are Monday to Friday (16:00-19:30)

The Facilities Management team is responsible for some for some of the most prestigious and iconic buildings in Lancashire. These buildings provide essential services to the community and vulnerable people.

High standards of cleanliness expected and prior experience is desirable. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.

Duties will consist of general cleaning, such as damp wiping, damp mopping, vacuuming, and toilet cleaning. This role requires you to lead a small team, ensuring all work areas are clean across the site. The role involves some straightforward administrative tasks such as reporting holidays and sickness, as being the first point of contact between both the client and area coordinator.

This position is part time – please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro-rata basis. Therefore, the hourly rate is £10.90
