About the Role: As an Architectural Technical Designer specialising in fitout projects, you will play a pivotal role in our team. We are looking for an individual with a passion for technical design, particularly in stage 4 detailing, including elevations, sections, joinery, ceilings, and intricate project details. Experience in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MeP) aspects is crucial, and proficiency in AutoCAD is a must. Knowledge of BIM is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Design:

  • Develop detailed stage 4 technical drawings, including elevations, sections, and intricate project details.
  • Create precise joinery and ceiling designs that align with project specifications.
  • Integrate MeP requirements into architectural designs, ensuring seamless coordination.

Software Proficiency:

  • Utilise AutoCAD for accurate and detailed drawing creation.
  • Familiarity with BIM tools (knowledge of Revit, ArchiCAD, or similar) is highly beneficial.

Project Management:

  • Manage and contribute to the design process from conception to completion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and project managers.

Requirements:

  • Background in architecture or engineering, with a focus on technical design.

  • Enthusiastic, personable, and adaptable with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and contribute to the design process effectively.
