Salary: Up to £35,000

We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Engineer for a leading IT Services company based in Rotherham.

The Senior IT Engineer will be responsible for ensuring customers are provided with a comprehensive IT service, taking ownership of any escalated issues and working to resolve them in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring customers are provided with an excellent level of service.

• Troubleshooting and resolving complex IT issues.

• Managing customer requirements and expectations.

• Understanding and maintaining SLAs.

• Developing and documenting IT processes and procedures.

• Ensuring all IT activities are performed in line with company policies and procedures.

• Working collaboratively with other IT teams.

• Managing customer relationships and contracts.

• Developing and implementing new strategies for system improvement.

Technical Skills Required:

• Proven experience in a Senior IT Engineer role.

• Extensive knowledge of Windows Server.

• Knowledge of Linux and virtualisation technologies.

• Experience with networking technologies such as routers, switches and firewalls.

• Experience with cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS or Office 365.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
