Position Details:

Roles: Education Support Advisor

Salary: Starting from £32,332 on Grade E, based on qualifications and experience

Hours: Part-time, 18.25 hours weekly (0.5 FTE)

Contract: Open-ended

About the Role:

As a key member of the Education Support team on the Streatham campus, you’ll be part of the Building One Hub Team, contributing to the vibrant learning environment at the University of Exeter. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow as a team leader and manager in an administration and customer services environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide advice, guidance, and administrative support to students and staff.

Lead, motivate, and manage a small team delivering administrative and customer support services.

Support the delivery of taught programmes across a diverse range of activities from enrolment to graduation, including student record maintenance, supporting assessment delivery and administration and awarding and progression.

Collaborate within a cross-Faculty team to support undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

Strong desire to build a career in administration and customer services.

Experience leading and managing small teams

Ability to motivate and inspire others

An excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

Experience working independently and as part of a team.

These roles form a vital part of our support services, including delivering a face-to-face service for students and staff, as such, role holders will be expected to work from campus for a minimum of two days per week, as well as for up to four days per week whilst training is completed.

Please also note that as busy roles with peaks in workload at specific points in the academic cycle, there may be periods in June, September, and October when leave may be restricted.
