Salary Range: £153.84 – £203.96 per day, depending on experience

Are you a passionate and dedicated Food Technology Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity in a thriving educational environment? We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team at a Secondary School in Lewisham on a temporary, full-time basis from the 2nd of January 2024 until the end of the academic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons to students.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the love of food and cooking.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support for improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Food Technology curriculum.
  • Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and parent-teacher meetings.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Strong subject knowledge and expertise in Food Technology.
  • The ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • A commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment.
