Part time (0.4 FTE) and open ended
We have an exciting new opportunity at Loughborough Sport for a part time Sports Therapist/Rehabilitator.
The successful candidate will be providing on-pitch rehabilitation, medical cover and acute assessments to our men’s Rugby team. The team are current reigning champions of BUCS Super Rugby and also play in the National 2 League. The role requires working alongside a large inter disciplinary team including other Therapists, Nutritionist, Sports Psychology, Strength & Conditioning Coaches and Rugby Coaches. The successful post holder will report to the Clinical Lead and contribute to driving the performance programme forward, striving for sporting success, clinical excellence, and athlete development. Working pattern will be variable and include evenings and weekends.
The successful post holder will have evidence of injury assessment, rehabilitation planning and implementation and trauma management. They will demonstrate experience of working in an inter disciplinary team and at a national/academy level in sport and be registered with SST or BASRaT.
