My client is a boutique law firm with an office in Spinningfields, Manchester and they are in the market for someone who has legal experience or experience within a role such as Paralegal, Legal Compliance, or previous audit experience. 100% Remote working is available for this role.
Full comprehensive training and support will be provided.
In the role you will;
- Undertake full and extensive audits of panel law firms and cases funded by litigation funders Be flexible to travel to other offices as and when required.
- Perform audits of law firms from a risk and compliance perspective, and check that they are adhering with all rules and regulations set by the SRA.
- Ensure that the funders assets and funds are protected at all times.
- Examine company accounts and financial control systems.
- Gauge levels of financial risk within organisations.
- Check that financial reports and records provided by firms are accurate and reliable.
- Prepare reports and commentaries of audit findings and present them to management and clients.
- Work with the law firms to help them carry out corrective action post audit.
- Discuss audit results with panel law firms and litigation funders.
- Liaise with other departments to present findings and recommendations.
