Job description: A prominent Construction Consultancy in Birmingham is looking for a dedicated and skilled Senior Construction Project Manager.

This role is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional to lead and manage projects, particularly in the education, residential, and mixed-use regeneration sectors.

The Senior Construction Project Manager Role

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be instrumental in the successful delivery of various projects. Your responsibilities will encompass client liaison, contract administration, team management, site visits, project planning, design development, and overseeing the tender processes. You will ensure projects are delivered effectively, meeting the high standards expected by our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with clients, presenting project plans and timelines.
• Serve as Contract Administrator or Employer’s Agent for various building types.
• Manage the Professional Team involved in projects.
• Conduct site visits and inspections, generating comprehensive reports.
• Develop initial appraisals and feasibility reports.
• Create outline design proposals and budget estimates.
• Prepare working drawings and oversee design accuracy.
• Manage tender processes and analysis.

The Senior Construction Project Manager

• BSc (Hons) or equivalent in Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, or Project Management.
• Proven experience in managing education, residential, or mixed-use regeneration projects.
• Proficiency in RIBA stages 0-4.
• Associate membership of RICS or an equivalent recognized qualification.
• Strong background working within a Consultancy environment
