Job description: Hello, I’m Kerry and looking for help with my household cleaning as soon as possible.
I need a responsible, punctual professional in cleaning. I have a lovely 2 bedroom house in Lochmaben, Dumfries and Galloway and until last year – loved keeping my house ( if not perfect!) then certainly clean and tidy.
Then, to cut a very long, hard story short – I ended up in hospital for a few weeks, getting every test done – only to be diagnosed and told that I need a hip replacement but, at 38, am deemed too young for any treatment at this time.
Update! It is now December 23 and I have literally just had a full hip replacement surgery – which is fantastic – but I am now in more pain than I ever and really need ongoing help.
The upshot is that I am now on crutches, in complete agony and just cannot keep on top of the cleaning/tidying anymore. I have asked for professional help from the council only to be told there is nothing they can do, but recommend that I hire a cleaner – at my own expense.
I have finally acknowledged that I need to hire someone, someone understanding who will understand why my house is the way it is, and why.
I look forward to hearing back as soon as possible, getting quotes etc as well as getting to know whoever is interested :).
