PMO – Project Management Office Lead

As the PMO lead you will develop the strategic direction and implementation of this function to include governance and compliance while providing support for the growing project requirements of our customer(s) and stakeholders. As part of the wider SITA Managed Services team at Heathrow you will collaborate with delivery and technical teams to ensure adoption of best practices, resource allocation, and tools to ensure effective Project Lifecycle

What you will do

This role offers a range of responsibilities and possibilities:

  • Developing, implementing, and updating resource allocations plans needed for projects, taking account of capacity/demand/allocation and cost implications.
  • Manage Monthly interlock with Commercial teams on pipeline review dashboard, this as an early alert of opportunities that likely to be materialised in the upcoming period.
  • Manage Monthly interlock with Project Financial controller, ensuring data integrity and reporting
  • Where possible identify simplification opportunities and synergies across projects
  • Facilitate team collaboration and coaching PMO members.
  • Chair Governance meetings and represent PMO in other monthly governance internal/external governance meetings
  • Identifying, reporting, and monitoring project risks
  • Clarizen project data quality audit, risks, monthly snapshots, issues, project delays, milestone and dates alignment
  • Monitoring and reporting project KPI’s
  • Ensure correct level of standards, methodology and templates applied through the project delivery

Qualifications

Who you are

Extensive experience of project management and related tasks

  • Strong familiarity of project methodologies and best practices
  • Experience on providing resource management.
  • Proven ability to problem solve.
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience or knowledge of Clarizen or resource management tools (nice to have)
