Successful Candidates Will:

  • Preferably hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills status (QTLS).
  • Demonstrate understanding of the Food Technology curriculum at both KS3 and KS4 levels.
  • Possess previous experience in teaching Food Technology or within a Secondary School setting.
  • Bring enthusiasm and a positive attitude to the classroom.
  • Exhibit a genuine passion for cultivating culinary creativity in students.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy learning environment through adherence to safeguarding procedures.
  • Employ innovative and engaging teaching methods.

Essential Requirements:

All applicants must have:

  • Preferably hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills status (QTLS).
  • A minimum of 3 months’ experience working as a teacher or within a Secondary School setting.
  • A positive approach to child development, effective behavior management, and a demonstrated passion for fostering culinary skills in your teaching.
  • Applicants will be subject to pre-employment checks and should hold a current DBS check registered to the update service.
