About the Position

We have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced Finance professional to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. The Sr. Manager, IT Planning & Performance Management (PPM) – International role is within the International Zone structure located in our Amsterdam or London offices. You’ll be working in a high performing team, alongside peers trying to reach the next level. You will be reporting to the Associate Director, IT – Global ZBB IT PPM.

In brief, you will be responsible to:

  • Manage and control the IT ZBB for IHQ and partially oversee other International Zones through monthly reporting and reviews with each of the International BUs;
  • Implement and manage the sustainable reinvestment mentality for IT ZBB package across the BUs;
  • Perform month-end close, monthly forecasts, and reporting of IHQ results;
  • Consolidation of BU’s information and variance analysis to report total Zone IT ZBB package for monthly performance reviews;
  • Lead and own the annual budgeting process for the IT ZBB package and coordinate the process with BUs and Zone BBP/ZBB teams;
  • Completing ad hoc analytics requests to drive business decisions, lead/support projects and improvement initiatives, develop and drive action plans to achieve financial results.
  • Perform variance analysis against forecast models for monthly, year-to-date and full year actuals and invoice validation for IT operating expenses;
  • Track and report savings initiatives – identify key cost/savings drivers, monitor progress and develop actions.
  • Doing the right thing – ability to interpret and apply standards and policies in consistent way;
  • Simplify processes and demonstrate continuous improvement mentality

Qualifications & Experience

Hard Skills

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
  • Additional relevant certifications (such as ACCA, CMA, CFA or equivalent) are an advantage
  • 5 – 10 years of controlling experience with managing Opex (ZBB) budget, tracking and analysis of financials in support of an operating function (i.e., IT, Supply Chain, Facilities, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of accounting concepts, month-end close and consolidation of results; minimum of 5 years’ experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and SAP. Microsoft BI, Tableau and ServiceNow skills preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work and think independently, interpret and exercise professional and data-driven judgment, creatively problem solve and continuous improvement mindset
  • Effective communication skills, ability to work with stakeholders’ positively while demonstrating sensitivity to remote working areas such as overseas locations, cultural differences, and split time-zones
  • Direct activities of geographically diverse team of PPM partners
  • Excellent work ethic with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong ability to multi-task with excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines with a can do attitude
