Job description: WINNER are currently supporting a family established bakery company with the recruitment of their Food Production Operative, this role will be based in Barnsley.

Night Shift: 8:00pm – 3:00am.

Must be able to have own transport or live close due to public transport operating times.

As a Food Production Operative you will be responsible for mixing ingredients together, bread proving and packaging a variety of different products.

You will be providing a high level of production service within a clean bakery environment.

The duties of the Food Production Operative will be:

• Assisting with production and packaging of different bakery products
• Mixing ingredients together
• Using slicing machines
• Labelling products
• Picking and packing customer’s orders
• Proving bread items to the correct temperature and timings
• Ensuring a highly level of cleanliness is adhered to.
• Meeting production KPI’s

The ideal Food Production Operative will have:

• Great communication skills
• Highly motivated
• Able to work in a fast pasted environment

The hourly rate for a Food Production Operative would be minimum wage depending on age.

Night Shift: 8:00pm – 3:00am.

The hours are 8 hours per night, 2 week contract through busy period

Expected salary: £42 – 10.42 per hour
