Sports Therapist/Rehabilitator at Loughborough University

Full time, fixed term for one year

We have an exciting new opportunity at Loughborough Sport for a full time Sports Therapist/Rehabilitator.

The successful candidate will be providing therapy/rehabilitation for our performance programmes, working with our long term injured athletes providing pitch side cover and soft tissue treatment. You will work with a wide range of athletes from various team and individual sports, including our Lightning franchises, international and Olympic athletes. The role requires working alongside a large inter disciplinary team. The successful post holder will report to the Clinical Lead and contribute to driving the performance programmes forward, striving for sporting success, clinical excellence and athlete development. Working pattern will be variable and include evenings and weekends.

The successful post holder will have evidence of injury assessment, rehabilitation planning and implementation, massage and trauma management. They will demonstrate experience working in an inter disciplinary team and at a national/academy level in sport and be registered with SST or BASRaT.
