Job description: A leading regulatory hosting group and software development company is actively seeking an experienced in-house general counsel to join its London office. Collaborate closely with the esteemed managing directors and CEO, playing a pivotal role in shaping the organisation’s future.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Administer the Legal Contracts tracker
- Draft engagement documents
- Negotiate key legal aspects of contracts, particularly indemnities and warranties
- Elevate pertinent issues to senior management
- Cultivate relationships with clients and their stakeholders
- Oversee the legal aspects of HR, TUPE matters, and, when necessary, handle GDPR compliance
- Assess and revise internal contracts
Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum classification of 2:1 or its equivalent
- At least 3 years of PQE experience in comparable roles, preferably with in-house experience
- Solid understanding of the regulatory industry and familiarity with FCA regulations
- Outstanding analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to identify issues and devise effective resolutions or enhancements
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment with cross-border responsibilities
