Aviation Connection are are looking for Flight Handlers to join our client Newrest, based in Manor Royal.
LOCATION: Crawley.
SALARY: £13.80 per hour
SHIFTS: 5 on 3 off starting time between 3am and 10am ( flexibility is required) The length of the shift is normally 9.5 hours with 30 minutes lunch break.
BENEFITS: Parking on site, meals provided whilst on duty, full uniform and PPE provided.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Plan and coordinate daily workloads.
- Ensure that everything is assembled according to client flight specifications
- Sealing flight products, whilst following strict security measures.
- Deliver all items of food to aircraft and confirm menu briefing with crew to ensure flight is fully catered.
- Ensure required airline standards are met regarding packing plans.
- Loading airline food and catering supplies inside delivery trucks and at the Aircraft in an effective manner.
- Lift and/or push approximately up to 50lbs.
- Assist with other duties within various departments as and when required.
- Adhere to Unit safety measures in place, inflight services security compliance.
- Seal a flight.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Minimum 1 years’ airline industry, experience (desirable).
- UK valid Driving Licence
- Right to Work in the UK
- Five year fully checkable reference history •
- Ability to pass Criminal Record Check (CRC) and Counter Terrorist Check (CTC)
