In this role, you will provide support to University of Sunderland in London (UoSiL) in areas of Health and Safety (H&S) related compliance and H&S project development. You will provide assistance to staff, ensuring that H&S advice is provided timely and accurately, and that H&S systems and processes are well managed, coordinated and communicated.

To excel in this position, you will need to have demonstrable experience providing professional support, working in a Health and Safety Coordinator role or equivalent. Specifically you will have experience conducting health and safety inspections and accident investigations including Manual Handling, Work Equipment, CoSHH, DSEAR, PUWER & First Aid. You will need to organised, with solid problem solving abilities and be a skilled communicator who can liase with people at all levels.
