Job title: Senior Management Accountant SECTOR

Job description: Main responsibilities:

• Monthly reporting for the largest entity in the business with a view to combine others in the future.
• Management and completion of balance sheet reconciliations
• Partnering with the wider business to understand the P&L variances, providing commentary
• Intercompany reconciliations
• Work with external auditors and support the preparation of the statutory accounts and annual audit
• Support the budget process
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns
• Management of 3 part qualified Accountants
• Assist and supervise with Client queries including client withdrawals and deposits
• Contribute to various projects, such as automation and improvement of current processes and reports

Global Accounting Network are currently partnered with a large Global Financial Services company who are looking for a Senior Management Accountant to manage the accounting for their largest entity.

This is an exciting opportunity to manage a team and be part of a culture that develops and progresses its employees. This role has a direct route to Financial Controller or a multitude of opportunities.

Skills/experience required:

• Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Experience of:

• Financial Services including regulatory returns and reporting under FCA compliance.
• P&L and balance sheet reconciliation
• Statutory Accounting
• Managing a team/Mentoring Juniors
