Job description: Key Recruitment Ltd are currently recruiting for a Factory Production Manager to work for a food company based in Portsmouth.

Responsibilities:
– Oversee the day-to-day operations of the factory
– Ensure production goals and targets are met
– Monitor and optimise production processes to improve efficiency
– Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of products
– Train and supervise factory staff
– Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures
– Maintain inventory levels and order necessary materials and supplies
– Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control

Skills:
– Strong leadership and management skills, you must be ambitious
– Excellent problem-solving abilities
– Good communication and interpersonal skills
– Basic maths skills for inventory management and production planning
– Mechanical knowledge to understand machinery and equipment used in the factory

As a Production Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the factory. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production, from managing staff to optimising processes. Your strong leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and process knowledge will be essential in maintaining high productivity levels while ensuring quality control.

Experience:

-Previous experience as a Production Manager is essential.

-Ideally a Food Production background would be advantageous

Hours of work:

Monday-Saturday 08:00-16:00
