Job description: Due to continued growth the position of Senior Quantity Surveyor has become available to join our successful team based in Redditch.

Costain is working closely with Severn Trent Water on their Capital Delivery Framework, as part of its c£2 billion capital programme for AMP7. As part of the Design and Build Framework lot, Costain brings together its design, construction, and consultancy expertise to undertake renewal and refurbishment projects and will assist Severn Trent in its target to make continuous improvements to its safety performance, whilst ensuring continuity of supply and consequently lowering costs of its customers.

This is a full time role.

Role Requirements

· Lead and develop where necessary the efficient and effective management and issue of accurate, timely and compliant notices and correspondence and ensure the compliance of all contractual activities on the project.

· Min 5 years commercial experience in civil engineering with knowledge and appreciation of relevant sector.

· Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent and RICS / CMinstCES qualified or finalising qualification

· Champions Sustainability Safety, Health and Environment by putting personal safety and wellbeing at the heart of everything we do and helping the environment and communities to thrive

· Having integrity by always doing the right thing in the right way

· Must be customer focused by striving for excellence through understanding, anticipating and meeting their needs
