Job Description:
TRCG is responsible for ensuring the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of the Bank’s transaction reporting obligations across multiple global regulatory jurisdictions. The global team is functionally aligned into the following teams: Submission Control, Enhanced Quality Assurance, Delegated Reporting, Remediation, Initiatives and Governance.
This role is within the Remediation team within Transaction Reporting Control Group. The purpose of the team is to apply analytical and project management expertise to Transaction Reporting breaches which have been identified, working with colleagues in Compliance, Operations and Technology until resolved. This is a very hands-on role, ideal for someone who has a keen eye for detail, yet also seeks the autonomy of managing and delivering on remediation projects. In particular, this role will focus on Root Cause analysis.
Business Analysis throughout full project lifecycle including definition of problem statement, requirements, creation and execution of test plans, and ensuring business readiness for implementation.
Managing the delivery of remediation items, across multiple work-streams, working with the business and technology to ensure timely remediation.
Partners with the business SMEs, Technology and Compliance.
Manages risk and ensures documentation is in place to record the details of project delivery and testing to audit standard.
Day to day contact person for Technology Agile teams, providing input into scrums and creating business documentation and tracking deliverables as required.
Working with other change teams, to identify impacts onto Transaction Reporting and ensure that appropriate UAT or Regression testing is performed.
Managing the back-reporting of all remediation items, including working with technology teams to define the requirements, and co-ordinate the submission of back reports
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Regulatory Background:
o Basic understanding of the regulatory trade and transaction reporting landscape would be ideal
o Familiar with key regulations covered by TRCG: EMIR, MIFID, CFTC, SFTR
o Prepared to remain current on the regulatory reporting landscape to ensure the firm’s reporting remains in step with any changes
Industry Experience:
o Experience of working in Banking MO, Operations or other relevant functions
o Experience in remediating transaction reporting issues, including back-reporting
o Familiar with key trade flow components: how trades are booked, cleared, captured, consumed by the reporting systems, processed, submitted to the regulatory / repository)
o Product specific knowledge inside / outside of transaction reporting operations
o Experience in key transaction reporting systems and how they interact with each other
Business Analysis / Project Management
o Project experience: extensive business analysis, project management, data analysis, and testing skills are required for this role.
o Exposure to working with remediation of regulatory mis-reporting is an advantage.
o Able to translate strategies into plans that can be effectively executed
o In-depth understanding of the FS regulatory landscape and experience in leading regulatory projects
o Experience in aligning resources in order to deliver sustainable results
Stakeholder / Client Management:
o Experience in managing cross-functional senior stakeholders
