About Us: Milk Education is a reputable education recruitment agency, and we are proud to be working with a fantastic secondary school in Bradford. Our client is seeking a dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis.

The Role: As a Food Technology Teacher, you will play a crucial role in nurturing students’ culinary skills and fostering their passion for food. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, preparing practical demonstrations, and providing constructive feedback to help students achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Food Technology lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Use innovative teaching methods to engage students and make learning enjoyable.
  • Assess and track students’ progress, providing regular feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve the curriculum.
  • Promote a positive attitude towards food and nutrition.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Food Technology.
  • Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students.
