As a Cyber Security Analyst, your primary role is safeguarding the organization from cyber threats by enhancing our toolset and implementing innovative solutions. Your focus includes maintaining data confidentiality, integrity, and availability for our clients. Ideal candidates possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of our products and services, and expertise in service management processes.

Your Expertise:

  • Familiarity with infrastructure and application technologies, including Microsoft Windows Server, VMware, Exchange, IIS, SQL, Linux, Citrix, Cisco, Azure, Office 365, and Teams.
  • Knowledge of security technologies such as SIEM, firewalls, antivirus software, authentication systems, and more.
  • Understanding of security approaches, risk analysis, CIA triad, attack vectors, cryptography, and cyber incident response best practices.
  • Proactive in identifying improvement areas, customer-focused, and dedicated with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Security+, SSCP, or a relevant computing/security degree is advantageous.

Role Expectations:

  • Develop and maintain the security of the firm’s IT services, collaborating with third parties for patching, resolving vulnerabilities, and system hardening.
  • Create and update security support documentation, ensuring consistent and effective support performance.
  • Collaborate with the IT Department to secure infrastructure from new system implementation to ongoing maintenance and monitoring.
  • Manage the remediation of penetration or vulnerability tests in coordination with the Technical Operations Team.
  • Stay updated on the latest security news, principles, techniques, and protocols.
  • Operate within an ITIL V3 service delivery framework and manage internal stakeholder relationships.
  • Adhere to defined Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.

Expected salary: £45000 – 50000 per year
