Job title: Food Technology KS3 & KS4 Teacher

Job description: Vision for Education is seeking a KS3 & KS4 Food Tech Teacher to work within a fantastic Secondary School in Braintree. This position is starting in January, 5 days a week for 6 months with the potential to go long term.

About the role

The desired Food Technology Teacher will demonstrate passion for the subject and have experience of working within a secondary school environment. The candidate will be comfortable teaching pupils across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4). Experience in a similar role is advantageous. The candidate will be also required to maintain high expectations of behaviour management to build positive relationships with staff and students.

About the school

This is a great Secondary School and Sixth Form located in Braintree. They have recently received a Gold Mental Health award and provide a wide range of activites to support the wellbeing of both students and staff.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Food Technology KS3 & KS4 Teacher you will:

  • Have experience working in a secondary setting
  • Be a confident communicator, able to use your own initiative when required
  • Have or working towards QTS
  • Hold a degree qualification
  • Have excellent time management and behaviour management skills

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Have or working towards QTS
